Stephon Shaquile Garner passed away Sunday February 17, 2013. Stephon was born in Springfield, Ma. on April 3, 1995. Stephon was a smart, charming and respectable young man. He enjoyed dancing and listening to music. Stephon’s self-confidence was enough to make anyone smile. Everyday challenges to Stephon were just another adventure or story to share with others. Stephon was an active member of New Beginning Word of Life Sanctuary where he sang in the choir and did whatever he was asked to do. Stephon was a senior at Springfield Public High School and was very excited about his upcoming graduation June of 2013.
Stephon leaves to celebrate his life parents Jimmie & Valerie James, biological parents Patricia Henderson & Michael Garner, sisters Javonne, Porshe, Natavia, one biological sister Janeice, brothers Joshua, Jimmie Jr., Jonathan, Jerome, four biological brothers Michel, Eric, Issac and Robert. Stephon was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Annie & Serafan Gonzales and a brother Patrick Bullard.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday March 1, 2013 at Church In the Acres, 1383 Wilbraham Rd. Springfield, Ma visiting hours are 5:00pm-7:00pm, funeral at 7:00pm. Burial will be Saturday March 2, 2013 please meet at Henderson Funeral Home 52 Hancock St. at 9:30am.
