Master Marlon Brown, 12, late 6th grade student of Kiley Middle School passed away on Friday, February 15, 2013. Born in Springfield, Mass he was the son of Delroy Brown and Tanya Evans.
Marlon was a person who always smiled. He also cared for others, asking “what’s wrong?” if you seemed down. He was also extremely friendly and quick to introduce himself to new people.
Marlon also had a special love for animals and music. The family pets gave him a lot of joy. He loved being around the dogs and treated them with much kindness.
Music was at the center of his soul. There wasn’t one day where he didn’t listen to music, especially reggae. He was observed on numerous occasions dancing and singing the songs he loved.
In the words of Dalajah, “Marlon always wanted to show off his achievements, always wanted to have his way, was extremely smart, remembered a lot of things and loved watching Disney and Nick together”.
His most precious passion was spending time with his grandmother and other family members. Besides his parents he is survived by his two sisters Dalajah and Shamekka, his brother Jamare, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives.
